I am excited to see you found my blog!

I have always been an avid reader. Collecting books like a Gremlin and reading them as quickly as time allowed me. I am an English degree graduate and find so much joy in reading and evaluating stories. There is something so beautiful about opening and reading the pages of a book. Every story is so different and every author deserves to have their words heard. I got the idea for this blog after meeting and friending indie authors. I wanted to show them more support then just purchasing their books and sharing their posts. I realized my education and passions were brewing a perfect potion to create this blog. With the support of my husband and friends, I pulled the trigger and started.

1. What Genres do you read?

I primarily Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Romance, and LGBTQIA+. However I also love broadening my horizons by picking up a book I normally wouldn’t.

3. How do you pick an author or book to review?

I mostly look at the number of Amazon Reviews. Focusing on books that have under 500 reviews or Authors who are not published through the 5 major US publishing companies. (Hachette Book Group, HarperCollins Publishers, Macmillan Publishers, Penguin Random House, and Simon & Schuster). When the book was published doesn’t matter to me as well. Some of the best works become popular long after they were published.

2. What are some of your favorite books?

I love so many books for many different reasons. But there are a few I always find myself going back to and consider them my comfort stories. The All-Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness, The Ruby Red Trilogy by Kerstin Gier, The Vampire Stalker by Allison van Diepen, and Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young.
